The Boat
When I set out studying flats boats (for over a year) for the Hawaiian Bonefishing environment, I realized fast I needed a Panga design. This was to ensure your comfort while traversing rougher blue waters.
As soon as I talked to Andy and Don Eggebrecht the founders and owners of Andros Boat Works, I knew I had found the right boat company. The liner in my boat is coated in rubber to minimize vibrations from walking, the corners are sanded down to minimize hull slap and with my Powerpole and other goodies, this is the finest flats boat bar none in the Hawaiian islands. The Evinrude Etec 90 she carries is American made and the best motor money can buy. She can handle the rough stuff and has a draft of under 12 inches for poling precision. Every feature on this craft has been picked out to give you a better shot at the bonefish of a lifetime.
